About Peter
Peter Grenney is an active member of OFFICIAL’s Aspen real estate team. Peter relocated to Aspen in 2007 after success in San Diego managing boutique multifamily projects to pursue development projects. His portfolio includes a notable land entitlement deal, project management of a high-end home on Red Mountain, and involvement in the pre-development stages for a Discovery Land Company project in Barbuda, crafting a solid foundation for his brokerage career.
Before Peter Grenney came to real estate, he studied Urban Planning and was interested in creating authentic communities as an antidote to suburban sprawl. This focus on place-making led him into real estate development, and eventually to found his non-profit - Civic Aspen - which focuses on increasing local community engagement. His genuine ties to Aspen also give Peter a unique understanding of its complex micro-market; his people orientation allows him to communicate this understanding with clarity and simplicity.
Peter’s gift of systems thinking and genuine curiosity has led him to learn and gain skills in multiple arenas. His multifaceted experience - from development to contracting, urban studies to civic engagement - has given him a bird’s eye view of real estate on a personal and community level.
